SELF-ESTEEM MONTH®
TEEN
A girl is bullied every 7 minutes in the school yard, playground, stairwell, classroom or bathroom.*
81 percent of 10 year old girls are afraid of being fat.*
As we engage our teens throughout the month of May, we have an opportunity to also lift up girls and boys who may be struggling with self-esteem issues or are on the brink of having their resiliency diminished. I Am Worth More invites you and your tweens to takeover and make it a night "out" or find events and activities in your area.
Tween Night Out. With the mounting media, societal and peer pressure youth experience daily, they need a break. Even a night in can be a night out by unplugging from all devices and tuning out from all media influences. A suggested listing of activities for a night in or out will be shared soon.
